Horizontal milling machine operator — Cochran County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Cochran County, Texas. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Day-to-day duties: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Rotating shifts.
