Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator in Pitkin County, Colorado. You will work in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
