Cement mason — Claiborne Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
