Milling machinist — Portage County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Portage County, Ohio. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day-to-day duties: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Six days a week, one day off.
