Tiling assistant — North Somerset

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in North Somerset, England. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts The role involves: • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
