The role involves carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; check for underground cables and services before digging; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines.
