Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Cheyenne County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Six days a week, one day off.
