Fettler — Salt Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
