Falsework carpenter wanted in Allegheny County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Six days a week, one day off. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
