What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
