Road roller operator — Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Jackson County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings The role involves: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Part-time with flexible hours. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
