Rough terrain crane operator — Warren County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Warren County, Virginia. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Rotating shifts.
