Digger driver — Smyth County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a digger driver in Smyth County, Virginia. The role involves carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. You should have: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
