Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Anderson County, Texas. You will work in a die and mould making unit. You will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
