Tig welder — Bindawa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Bindawa, Katsina State. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
