Floor screeder — Fairfax County

Join our team: we are hiring a floor screeder in Fairfax County, Virginia. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Overtime paid at a premium rate.
