Cnc setter-operator — Pope County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Pope County, Minnesota. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
