Argon welding operator — Santa Cruz County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
