Moulder wanted in Cameron County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Cameron County, Pennsylvania. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
