Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Gwadabawa, Sokoto State. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Rotating shifts.
