Urgent requirement: formwork carpenter (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Galveston County, Texas. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
