You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout You will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area.
