Gardener — Tafawa-Balewa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gardener in Tafawa-Balewa, Bauchi State. You will be based in a residential garden complex. On a typical shift you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
