Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Ballard County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances.
