Vacancy available: escalator technician (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Fayette County, Iowa. The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
