Quality control inspector — Chenango County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Chenango County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor On the job you will handle: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
