Crane rigger — O'Brien County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in O'Brien County, Iowa. You will be based at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller.
