Immediate opening: dozer operator (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Frederick County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $11,750 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
