Sample machinist — Sherman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Sherman County, Texas. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Performance bonus on top of base pay.
