Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Fayette County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
