Scaffolding labourer • Geneva County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Geneva County, Alabama. You will work at a shipyard. You should have: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards On the job you will handle: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground 5+ years on the tools preferred.
