CNC machine operator — Oakland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Oakland County, Michigan. The job is in a CNC machine shop. On a typical shift you will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; set up and start the machine as per the job card; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. What we are looking for: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
