Argon welding operator • Scott County, Missouri

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Scott County, Missouri. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Six days a week, one day off.
