Meat cutter — Ibadan North East

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in Ibadan North East, Oyo State. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred.
