Gantry crane operator — Jefferson Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 2+ years on the tools preferred.
