We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The role involves weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
