Elevator repair technician — Leon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Leon County, Texas. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
