Cook — Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cook in Marion County, Texas. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Day to day you will label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare the mise en place before each service; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
