Immediate opening: marble cutter (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble cutter in Hockley County, Texas. The job is on a hotel and villa renovation project. Day to day you will shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone 5+ years on the tools preferred.
