Pastry baker wanted in Alpena County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Alpena County, Michigan. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
