Vacancy available: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Clinton County, Kentucky. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Your main tasks: • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
