Truck driver — Buchanan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a truck driver in Buchanan County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Rotating shifts. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
