Horizontal milling machine operator — Henry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Henry County, Iowa. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
