Sewing machine operator — Ado Odo/Ota

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Ado Odo/Ota, Ogun State. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around ₦130,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
