Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Washoe County, Nevada. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Your main tasks: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
