Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Dolores County, Colorado. The job is on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
