Gang bricklayer wanted in Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Washington County, Idaho. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
