The role involves backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions We offer £110 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off.
