Track-type tractor operator — Butte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Butte County, South Dakota. You will be based at an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
