Vacancy available: steam press operator (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
